- Buddhi operates from three distinct levels.
- The lowest level makes decisions based on information from the lower mind (reactivity and memory) and is geared towards instant gratification.
- The second stage works from social contracts and doing what we feel we ‘should’ do. Culture, society and the opinions of others have an impact on our decision making at this level. It is also self-serving.
- The highest level of Buddhi makes decisions based on direct alignment with your true nature.
- The higher Buddhi chooses what is right, regardless of the consequences. This is called your Dharma.
